Kelly Bonzon

Hello, my name is Kelly Bonzon. I am a MSc student at QIS LAB.
I have an academic background in microtechnologies, having earned my bachelor’s degree in Geneva with a specialization in applied physics. I am now enrolled in the Master’s program in Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the University of Bern with a focus track on Image Guided Therapy (IGT). To complete my degree I have the opportunity to undertake my thesis project at the QIS LAB. I am working on open-source sequence programming for advancing cardiac imaging, where I implement a 3D-radial PC-bSSFP sequence within a Pypulseq framework. I will then conduct a comparative analysis against a gold standard sequence.
I am glad to be part of the QIS LAB and collaborate with an international team. I believe that the knowledge gained throughout this journey will inspire innovative solutions in the field of MRI!
