Tina Salvisberg
Hi, my name is Tina Salvisberg and I joined the QIS LAB for my Master thesis.
I am studying biomedical engineering with the major image-guided therapy at the university of Bern. My Master thesis will focus on implementing an Open Source MRI sequence for cardiac imaging and is supervised by Prof. Dr. Jessica Bastiaansen, Dr. Joseph Woods, and Matteo Tagliabue.
I did my Bachelor’s degree in medical engineering at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). For my Bachelor thesis I developed a machine learning classifier for single cell data in an animal intervertebral disc model. During my studies I have been working as a student assistant at HSLU in an Innosuisse project with a medical engineering startup and as a research assistant in the Neuro Robotics group of ARTORG and the institute for human centered engineering at BFH. Before that, I worked several years in the IT industry in communication, project management and Scrum Master roles.
