About Us

The Quantitative MR Imaging Science Lab (QIS) is headed by Prof. Jessica Bastiaansen. Our lab is part of the Department of Radiology (DIPR) at the University Hospital of Bern (Inselspital) and affiliated to the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research of the University of Bern.

Our lab is physically located in the Swiss Institute for Translational and Entrepreneurial Medicine and part of the Translational Imaging Center. We work in close collaboration with clinicians as well as scientists from industry.

Check the other pages for more info, and contact us if you are interested to collaborate!

“When a result confirms your hypothesis, you’ve made a measurement. If it doesn’t, you’ve made a discovery.”
